Best Western Plus The Connaught Hotel, The Connaught Suite

We've stayed here before and paid less than a Travelodge for a night on a B&B basis. We were in the lodge and, though in places the room looked tired, it was clean. The pool is 18m long, so you can have a 'good' swim. There's a sauna and steam room. It was quiet at night and we slept well. The breakfast was fantastic. A hot breakfast buffet that was served to you and, this is the best bit in my opinion, the plates were taken away once they were finished with. No sitting around on a table full up with dirty dishes. The breakfast staff are attentive and all the staff that we encountered were very friendly. It is in a good spot as you can be by the pier in less than 15 minutes stroll.

We had a lovely time at your hotel! The environment was pleasant and welcoming, making our stay very enjoyable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. Dinner was delicious, with a variety of tasty options, and breakfast was equally good, providing a great start to our day. We highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and comfortable stay.

My partner and I had the afternoon tea with prosecco and unlimited tea and coffee. There was a nice variety of sandwiches and cakes. The scones were my favourite as they were still warm 😊. It was quite quiet,maybe because we went on a Sunday afternoon. Very relaxed atmosphere and when we had finished eating there was rush to get us out like some places I've been to. Would highly recommend it. Can't comment about the rooms as haven't been in them.
