Great Stay at Holiday Inn. My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn in Wigston, Leicester, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. We booked two rooms online and were thrilled with the outstanding service we received right from the moment we arrived. Despite arriving an hour before the official check-in time, the reception staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They promptly allocated our rooms, ensuring we didn't have to wait around, which we greatly appreciated after a long journey. Their warm and friendly demeanour set the tone for our stay and made us feel instantly welcomed. As we entered our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised by their cleanliness and the overall quality. The bathrooms were spotless, and the fresh linen added a touch of luxury. Given the weather, the air conditioning provided a much-needed respite, ensuring we remained comfortable throughout our stay. The convenience of the hotel's car park can not be understated. It was spacious and well-maintained, giving us peace of mind knowing that our vehicle was secure. This attention to detail was a testament to the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. One highlight of our stay was the complimentary breakfast, which was included in our reservation. The variety and quality of options were truly impressive. Whether you had specific dietary requirements or simply desired a hearty breakfast, there was something for everyone. The attentive staff ensured that all the dishes were replenished promptly, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, our experience at Holiday Inn Wigston was nothing short of exceptional. The friendly and efficient service, clean and comfortable rooms, convenient car park, and delicious breakfast all contributed to a truly memorable stay. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the staff's commitment to making our time there as enjoyable as possible. We highly recommend Holiday Inn Wigston to anyone seeking a top-notch hotel experience in Leicester. Whether for business or pleasure, this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. We are grateful for the wonderful memories we made during our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Recently stayed for a week and overall I had a good stay but I found the place tired and abit run down not the standard I was expecting especially for the price I paid. There was a horrible smell in the corridor outside my room which only got sorted the day before I left. The room wasn't as clean as I expected and some days no one came in to tidy up. The sink overflow was dirty and the towels were frayed. Went to get a Starbucks twice and no one was around to serve me. Honestly had better stays at B & B in the past.

Nicely decorated hotel and rooms, service from restaurant staff was shocking. They forgot half of our meals. Some items were overcooked, some undercooked, when it we ordered drinks, the waiter said,'The bar is over there. Get your own. When more people joined our group, the waiter got their drinks ? Bella Italia needs to retain their staff.

Expensive. Bathrooms very tatty and in need of refit, lots of limescale/ staining, but the shower works well. Had an executive room which is bigger than standard but strange layout as can't see TV from sofa. Bed is larger but not very comfy. Room very cold with no proper heating. Seem short on staff in bar/ coffee area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Worst experience ever in a hotel. absolutely does not deserve 4 stars. the room has not been maintained for 10 days, there is no food, the facilities do not work, the refrigerator is not in good condition, all the food will spoil. hallways with blood on the walls and doors at 3 am. the internet has not worked for 16 hours. mold in bathroom and showers never cleans up old hair from previous guests at least a few months ago. drafts in the windows, door handles and locks falling out. It's difficult to keep the environment at the correct temperature when it's always too hot or too cold. I advise people with pets and those in the LGBTQ+ community that it is prohibited, despite there being false advertising on their page stating that they accept pets and that everything is welcome, including a logo that says be who you are. this is not the case here. with a two bedroom stay booked for 28 days with a bill of £7k a month you have no right to complain, the staff will respond with attitude and no responsibility. they don't do what they say they're going to do. we were victims of discrimination and were treated unequally compared to others. once you get a really bad apology, it will come with a bunch of excuses that are unprofessional. employees arriving on duty crying. receptionist partners standing in the hallway, hiding from the cameras. you will probably never find an employee at reception, they are always chatting in the back office. approximately 15/20 minutes to reach it. Room phones are useless because no one answers most of the time. waited 3 hours to speak to a manager. stay away from this hotel, it has new management and doesn't know what it is doing. Hardip the receptionist is very rude and will belittle you and make you feel unworthy, she will get very personal and assume she knows who you are and where you come from. Helen the receptionist has an attitude, is rude and has no work ethic the team effort here is shocking. most of the people in the hotel are getting flu like symptoms and covid.
