April 2024Brilliant location right on the quey and just across the road from the tram stop, rooms were a bit dated and rough round the edges but were clean and bed comfortable the curtains are black out so room was nice and dark and the shower was powerful! It's a very basic room and perfect for the price paid, we were a bit early and they let us check in a little early and check out was really easy! We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as price was very steep and the price of drinks at the bar is ridiculous, it was late when we popped down and everything was quiet but we were not allowed to sit in the pretty conservatory because we were not eating (a member of staff came running after us like we were stealing something telling us we couldnt sit there and escorted out) so instead sat in the bar which to be honest felt like a waiting area in a service station, which is disappointing when you have just paid a fortune for drinks! But the room itself was perfect for a basic cheap hotel

May 2024As a regular guest at Copthorne Hotel in Salford Quays, I can confidently say that their breakfast experience never disappoints. The selection of breakfast items is extensive and caters to various tastes and dietary needs. From fresh fruits and pastries to hearty hot dishes, there's something to satisfy every craving. What truly sets Copthorne Hotel apart, however, is their exceptional staff. Even during busy periods, the team maintains a level of friendliness and professionalism that is truly commendable. Their genuine smiles and attentive service make every morning feel like a joyous occasion, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. Whether you're a regular guest like myself or visiting for the first time, the breakfast experience at Copthorne Hotel in Salford Quays is consistently top-notch. It's a testament to their commitment to excellence in both hospitality and dining.

April 2024Stayed here for the Manchester marathon and it was ideal. The room was good for a budget hotel, perfect location and fantastic value- cheaper than the usual chain hotels. Some bits of the hotel were looking tired but our room had been refurbished in the last year apparently and was fine. The best aspect were the staff who were really friendly and helpful. I brought my bike so I could go cycling while my wife ran the marathon and the staff were happy to let me bring the bike into the room for safe keeping (I resisted the urge to ride it down the corridors). Breakfast was good too, especially appreciated the bacon with crispy edges; not like the flaccid stuff you usually get at a buffet breakfast. Hopefully they can get the rest of the refurbishment done as it's a very good hotel.

May 2024Love the Club rooms and the little added touches with the hotel - refillable water station, heated bathroom floor, one free drinks voucher during your stay and parking validated. Room was very clean as well and bed was comfy.

May 2024Good location but not a 4 star more a 3. Very outdated. We had 2 Club Rooms both having damage to furniture and bathroom tiles. Very clean but cleaners can only do so much to try and make a room look better. In desperate need of refurbishment. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly.
