Having stayed at another hotel in Cheltenham before coming to this one, it's apparent that there are several downgrades to my experience. Customer service has been top notch here. Had I not stayed elsewhere locally before coming here I might have given a higher rating.. My trip is over now and I'll keep it at two stars. There are parts of the hotel in need of serious renovation and hopefully someone has by now cleaned up all the dead flies on the window sills in the lounge and dining area. They hired a really good photographer to make things look nicer and more extravagant than they are.

For a two night stay, this hotel was fine. Good service in the bar/lounge and at reception. Breakfast was self service with an excellent broad range of cooked items, plus meats, cheeses, cereals etc. Plenty of parking, and easy to find the hotel on one of the main routes into Cheltenham from the south. The pond would have been pleasant to walk around, if it hadn't been full.of algae. Like many hotels of this age, it could benefit from some money being spent on it. And top of the list should be air conditioning. It was unbearably hot the first night we stayed, even on a damp day in September. The puny wall mounted fan did little to address the problem. We were in a lower ground floor room, dark and dingy with only a small amount of window opening available. The view was of a 10ft high retaining wall, 6 ft away from our window. This meant we needed all the electric lights on, at all times of day. I wouldn't recommend these rooms, nor would I be prepared to stay in one again.

Negative Bit small in pool area . Not many loungers. Little shaby. Could do with a fresh space. Positive However don't let that put u off. Service was excellent. Very busy and staff was friendly and very welcoming... The massage 💆‍♀️ was amazing and the rooms had a lovely energy. Robes and slippers provided. High tea was excellent, rest of the building was lovely. I do recommend this place.

Nice hotel. Two small floors above main building which seem to offer the bigger rooms. Two lower levels along very long wing. They form most of the bedrooms either car park or garden side. This hotel had a very comfortable bed. The shower bath would have been better without the small glass screen that just leaked the water all over the floor. They normally have a curved shower curtain. We had breakfast which was a nice selection of hot and cold buffet. The staff were great, friendly and attentive. Only thing I would change with it being a buffet would offer hand sanitizer prior to handling all the serving spoons for breakfast. If I was here again I would consider staying again.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely countryside setting, but very close to Cheltenham town so driving in was no fuss. Swimming pool was a bit small but still was nice! Massive bed! Lovely hotel room and really comfy pillows. Reception staff were lovely. Nice easy car park that didn’t charge.
