I travel a fair bit with work. The hotel is excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Gym accessible and big enough. Pool looked great but I didn't use it. Breakfast good the fresh fruit selection was great. Ate in the restaurant and the two courses I had were excellent. Good pillows, good shower, good connectivity. What's not to like?

A very nice, secluded hotel in Maidstone. All staff were so polite and nice, rooms super clean with all the necessary amenities. Food in the restaurant was exquisite and breakfast had a huge options. Great for couples getaway or family as the hotel is super chill friendly with a great swimming pool.

We opted the hotel for it’s golf course for our Valentine’s Day retreat, the hotel is quite average with nothing fancy about it, rather in the day you will find it very busy commercial place because of external meetings and events probably. Breakfast is good with fair options for non pork eaters, driving range is really reasonably priced hence is very basic, course is nice and green. We had dinner at Cast Iron which is their main restaurant but food was not the best really. Would like to commend restaurant staff (elderly ladies) for your hospitality and care.

We went for a spa package, the massage itself was fantastic and the masseuse really knew her stuff, getting knots out of my shoulders and leg that I didn't know were there. My honest rating would be 3.5 stars, this is because of the facilities. It is very much a spa put onto a hotel, rather than a spa hotel. The pool and other facilities are open for all hotel guests to use and it was just full of children, where other spas I've been to have private spa facilities so you can really make a day of it.

Booked a Spa day package. Hotel rang day before to confirm treatments which we’d upgraded. Informed us that the swimming pool area was booked for kids swimming lessons from 9-12! Apologised but we weren’t pleased as this wasn’t quite what we had in mind. When we arrived the pool area was full of kids (not just a section as was told) It was like a public swimming pool. Really noisy and total chaos. Totally unsuitable for a spa day. Staff were very nice and they did add on an extra 15 mins treatment time for inconvenience but this didn’t make up for the overall experience. Treatments were lovely and Therapist was very good. Lunch in cafe was awful. Two dried sandwiches (previously frozen bread) and 2 drinks for £30. Went in pool after lunch. Although classes ended, still full of kids, noisy and not the relaxing day we hoped for. Really disappointed. Only positive was the treatments. If you’re staying at the hotel or just going for a round of golf, spa treatment or gym fine, otherwise don’t bother. Not worth the money and came home feeling stressed by the pool experience. Shouldn’t be advertised for stand alone spa packages and would not recommend. Shame as nice hotel in a lovely location.
