Good location right next to new street train station. Other than that, it's an OK establishment. Don't have to much expectations and you will be fine. It's clean, which is the most important factor!

Rooms were absolutely fine for the price and being right next to the station was great but god the noise from all angles was ridiculous. I was in the first floor which meant I had to hear music and football games from the pub below constantly and the incredibly loud stomping of guests going up and down the stairs late every night. Didn’t help that any time any water was used in the bathroom I had to listen to sometimes hours of loud trickling and dripping water. Sounded like every pipe above me was pouring water out into the roof.

When I book this hotel, I had looked at the details and description of what I was purchasing. However, upon arrival, I was shocked and disgusted with the Hotel and room that I had booked. Myself and my partner were given a room on the second floor, 207 when entering this room, I Found hairs In the bath and round the sink. I also found hairs on the bedding and stains on the bedding, as well as remnants of food left on the windowsill. I found mould around the windows and dust all around the room and on the radiator. I went down to reception to inform them of what I had found in the Room and the receptionist gave myself and my partner, a new room on the second floor, 203. Myself, I’m a partner moved all our luggage to room 203 we had discovered that the room was what I can only describe was it extremely on sanitary and disgusting. There were stains on the pillow which I could describe as bodily fluid urine stains on the mattress and the fitted sheet. I found hairs on the bed and on the bedding as well as hair in the bath and round the sink that had not been cleaned, there was stains on the towels and a puddle of urine on the left side of the toilet on the floor. There was Cigarette ash that was left on the window ledge and Cigarettes Thrown out of the window. I had pulled a long black hair from one of the mugs next to the kettle. I had found hairs round the lamps. There were stains up the walls and also an exposed plug socket next to the bed as well as all of this there was extreme dust round and inside the Radiator and all the surfaces. There was damage and holes to the walls and decides from the extreme and lack of cleaning in the hotel room myself and my partner was subjected to listen to another guest or guests are above us singing, repeatedly the same song and blaring music. This was again reported to the reception by my partner to which the receptionist did not let my partner finish his complaints and concerns of the bedroom that we was given and instead stated that he would sort out the noise. My partner returned to the hotel room 203 and explain this to me. The music and the singing did not stop, in fact it was continuous to the point where myself, I had to further complain to the receptionist to which he then stated Had resolved the noise complaint to which I’m formed him that he hadn’t due to still be able to hear them. Then the receptionist stated that he Deal with the noise. It got to the stage where myself my partner had no other choice, but to book and pay for another hotel and move all of our luggage to the new hotel which further put us out of pocket due to paying for two hotels, one of which we had to leave due to the environment as described above. I asked for confirmation from the comfort in hotel that myself and my partner would not be staying there however, they could not provide any confirmation aside from the confirmation that I had booked and paid. I would describe this hotel as hotel funded by the council to house the homeless, the stench of sick and urine was horrendous.

Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. Note it hasn't got a restaurant so doesn't do breakfast, instead relying on weather spoons nearby. Also no lift, I was on the fourth floor. Room was very run down, pictures say it all, only one pillow, very small TV, broken remote sellotaped together, also broken hairdryer sellotaped together. Positives, good location in central Birmingham right next to the station, the room was quite quiet. It wasn't cheap at £245 for a night.
