I would class the Thurrock Hotel as a 4-Star Hotel, I stayed a few days over Christmas 2023. The room was more than adequate with a charger port in the bathroom for my electric shaver, I did not see USB sockets in the bedroom but there were ample standard plug sockets. Complementary tea and coffee with a kettle, there was an airer in the wardrobe closet with an ironing board and iron so as rooms go it's was fully complimented including a flat screen TV with unhindered programs. A telephone that connects to the reception. It was a comfortable stay. It has a bar and communal restaurant. It has charm and charisma and unique furnishings. My personal score is 10/10.

Great service and good value. Staff very helpful indeed. Good sized rooms and very clean.

On Tuesday we had my mothers Funeral Reception at the Hotel. The whole experience was great from the kind and efficient help and advice Tricia gave in arranging our buffet in the Garden room. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food excellent We had a lovely get together and were very pleased with everything.
