A rainy stay which somewhat dampened the view and experience but not the fault of the hotel! Beautiful room and very spacious and quiet. Quirky yet comfortable overlooking the IFS cloud cable car. Will definitely return.

We purchased an afternoon tea Groupon deal which included a cocktail. The yacht/hotel is situated next to the Excel Centre. Not sure if it's a real yacht as we didn't feel any water movement. The decor is quite ornate. We were shown to a table with river views. There are seating options outside on the deck with views of the 02 and river. We were served promptly and the selection of pastries and savouries is definitely worth the price. The signature cocktail was delicious. Tea, coffee and even hot chocolate is replenished as many times as you want. The only strange thing was that when the food was delivered, the hot drinks weren't. I asked for them and was advised they would follow later. However, after a few minutes we did ask for them and they were served. We, like many of the other diners, couldn't finish all the food. We had filled up on the savouries, scones and delicious hot chocolate,. We were given a carry out box and took the remaining cakes with us, which included two quite large red velvet cakes. There were other couples using the same deal, a hen group and we even saw a wedding reception. I would recommend and will probably return, and to have dinner too.

We've had a wonderful afternoon in their dining room. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The scenery is truly spectacular. The food and the cocktails were delicious.

What an amazing experience. I can't speak highly enough about this hotel. The staff were lovel, really helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. The rooms are lovely and my room was spotless all the possible amenities that you'll need. Dinner was amazing!! The food was incredible and the service was great. Top marks across the board. Will definitely recommend

To start with the positive, we found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The food was also great and to a high standard. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the standard of accommodation and general condition of the hotel. It seems very tired, dated and not withstanding of the luxury stay it's marketed as. Examples of this include our worn out bathroom with many cracked and chipped tiles. Poor water pressure and fluctuating shower temperature. Loose toilet seat. Double bed was two singles pushed together with a mattress topper and a sheet tucked underneath the edges of this. Ripped seating in the main restaurant. We paid for a balcony and view but unfortunately, as I should have realised, one side of the boat is docked so you may get a view of The Excel centre if you are placed on the land side of the boat rather than a river view. We did have a lovely stay which is why I haven't given a lower rating, but for the price paid, I felt rather underwhelmed with the hotel. It's marketed as a luxury stay but unfortunately for me, it was only 3 star accommodation and I can't help thinking I could have got a lot more for my money elsewhere in the capital.
