Once a renowned Georgian Home, Sudbury House is a Grade II listed building that has been lovingly restored to its former glory, creating a gorgeous venue for your wedding day. Complete with antique furnishings and complimented by clocks, sculptures and art work, this venue provides you with a grand experience for your special day.
The Old House gives you a traditional entrance for you to host welcome drinks and use as a magical backdrop for your wedding photography. The oak panelled civil ceremony room comes complete with a gorgeous feature fireplace, and the Regency is available for intimate celebrations for up to 12 guests.
If you’re looking for a larger event space then you can use the large restaurant. This can accommodate up to 160 seated guest for your wedding breakfast, and 200 guests for an informal buffet or evening celebration.
Located in the quiet market town of Farringdon and sitting on the edge of the Cotswolds, our venue is within easy reach of the M40 and M4 and is easily accessible for guests, no matter how far or near they may be coming from.

December 2023Sudbury House looked after us for our business Christmas party this year. They went beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a good time, the food was superb and we would not hesitate to come back. Excellent service from an excellent team, many thanks.

February 2024Well looked after at Sudbury House Hotel for our overnight. Warmly welcomed by reception and when checked in we were told our room was ready early. Our large twin was comfortable and clean with a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We had booked for dinner in the on site restaurant and our three course meal was delicious! The pork main was the standout dish. We treated ourselves to breakfast in bed which was a hearty start to the day and we were able to enjoy the room a little bit more as we had a 1pm check out. Looking forward to visiting Sudbury House Hotel again in the future and hoping they will have a Spa room then to accommodate massages and other treatments which is the only thing missing from our lovely stay here. My friends and I highly recommend staying.
