Our Hammersmith store is a bright space with high ceilings and a glass front. This store is two thirds grocery store and one third street food market. This includes a bar, three street food vendors and a modern planted seating area.

August 2021This shop has a great choice in breads, meat, drinks, eco friendly products and I have found eco products I have not seen in any other shops. There is a choice of eco products that you can bring your own bottles to refill and this is great if you want to reduce your plastic waste. There is a range of quality meats, fruit and vegetables. I have found a range of healthy whole food snack here I normally buy. I have became a regular purchaser of their wholemeal sourdough which is always fresh. This is a great shop for picking up a quick dinner as they have a range of frozen ready meals. Snacks and lunches are great from here too. I am always happy to use local shops and this has some great finds for me. I am constantly on the look out for more environmentally friendly personal products (shampoos, deodorants etc..) cleaning products and healthier food even if it is snacks. This is a little gem in that regard. The products are all great quality, fresh and the staff have been friendly. The only problem I have is access is not ideal for people who have mobility problems and getting in and out is tricky because of tables and the large step. Getting past the tables with people sitting at them is not easy or the step to avoid them. (Covid is a real issue for people who have health conditions, even with immunisation and masks) Disabled access would be almost impossible because of this, which is a shame. This shop is worth visiting for one of items, dinner, lunch or even all the ingredients for a really nice meal. The staff here are friendly and helpful, hopefully they can make it that it is easier to get into the shop.

April 2021On paying for my purchases last week on my first visit, I commented about how "posh" the shop was. My goodness! What an array of ingredients you can buy by the ounce or gram! Every kind of this & that in the direction of one's health benefit. It doesn't, however, have everything we personally need - I wouldn't expect that, though I was slightly disappointed. I gave them 4/5 because they weren't that friendly. Maybe they were on their last legs near the end of their shift. Not helpful to new customers but a great shopping experience. 😅 Photo if I go in that direction again.

July 2021The selection of products is good, especially if you are looking for Italian or Spanish specific items. I love having a grocery store like that in this area. BUT Loose fruit and vegs are often not in a great shape or well maintained. And the big no, to me, is the customer service: in a place like that, you should find more professional and prepared staff, where everyone knows what they are selling daily…attention to the details is slightly missing here.

April 2021Often sells out of date biomel which never seems to get checked by staff. Had 3/4 times sour out of date now i check the dates and even ones in date can be sour as they do not store them in a fridge clearly so they go off. Somehow charges double the price of supermarkets. More expensive..? Okay but double?!
