Wild by Tart is a neighbourhood restaurant set within a multipurpose space. Housed in a former power station and coal store, the 9,000 sq. ft site combines a restaurant, bar, coffee kiosk, retail store, events space, and photography studio. Founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, the successful duo behind bespoke catering company Tart London, and Tom Warren, founder of leading photography studio Lock Studios. The restaurant offers a relaxed menu. Inspired by places and people they love, Lucy and Jemima cook food with big flavours and seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced where possible. Dishes are served from an open kitchen with counter seating, wood burning oven and charcoal grills.

Amazing atmosphere and incredible venue but very overpriced, £28 for an average cheese and charcuterie board. We also asked for the gluten free option and we were charged extra for 2 tiny pieces of bread, but we appreciated the option. Wine is also extremely overpriced compared to other places in the same area.

I’ve been wanting to visit Wild by Tart for a while, and the atmosphere certainly lived up to expectations. The setting was lovely, and the waitress who served us was very kind and friendly, which made the experience pleasant. However, we went specifically for the desserts and left disappointed. We ordered the sundae and tiramisu. The tiramisu tasted dry, as if it had been sitting in the fridge for a while, and even had that distinct "fridge" smell, if that makes sense. The sundae, on the other hand, was just average—nothing special. Given how much I had been looking forward to trying this place, the dessert experience was a letdown. I don’t think I’ll be returning for desserts, though I might consider coming back to try their lunch menu. That said, the lovely atmosphere and friendly service do give it some redeeming points.
