Wild by Tart is a neighbourhood restaurant set within a multipurpose space. Housed in a former power station and coal store, the 9,000 sq. ft site combines a restaurant, bar, coffee kiosk, retail store, events space, and photography studio. Founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, the successful duo behind bespoke catering company Tart London, and Tom Warren, founder of leading photography studio Lock Studios. The restaurant offers a relaxed menu. Inspired by places and people they love, Lucy and Jemima cook food with big flavours and seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced where possible. Dishes are served from an open kitchen with counter seating, wood burning oven and charcoal grills.

A unique private dining space situated on a raised mezzanine level, overlooking the restaurant and bar.

Stunning decor, and a wonderful variety of dishes to share and taste. On the pricey end, so would generally recommend it as a treat. Especially great for date night or a girls night out. Service was super speedy and friendly too!

We visited Wild By Tart before a theatre trip to see Hamilton. We just wanted a couple of sharing plates before the musical. The food, service and ambiance is just amazing. It was for my step sons birthday and he was blown away with the food and the setting.

I was thrilled to capture a wedding at Wild By Tart, a modern London venue on my photography bucket list. Its industrial charm, greenery, and ample natural light are captivating. The arched ceiling's generous windows cast a warm glow, creating a raw yet delicate ambiance. Regardless of the season, the venue's beauty shines through, aided by the unique mezzanine level for distinctive shots. A dream location for any London wedding photographer.

Been wanting to try this spot for while and it did not disappoint! The space is beautiful, inside and outside, with a cozy/laid back atmosphere. The service was attentive, friendly, and quick we ordered the sweet corn arancini and lamb flatbread, both were super fresh and flavourful. Although, I don’t think I’d order the lamb flatbread again since there was very little lamb on it (still tasted delicious). Will definitely be back here soon!

I had a disappointing experience at Wild by Tart, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. The most troubling aspect was being served a skate wing with a strong ammonia taste. When we raised this issue, the response was dismissive, claiming it was supposed to taste that way. This left us feeling uncomfortable and worried about our health. Moreover, the staff’s lack of attentiveness was evident as they hurriedly placed food on our table, even stacking new dishes on top of the plates of other dishes we had. Additionally, the utensils provided were inadequate for cutting our food, making the dining experience even more frustrating. To add to our dismay, chipped plates (see photo) were used for serving. These issues collectively created a disappointing dining experience. The only redeeming action was when the waiter removed the fish from the bill, which, considering the circumstances, was the least they could do. I hope these concerns are addressed to improve the overall dining experience at Wild by Tart.
