Amazing free museum showing the fascinating industrial history. So many historic items like the first modern computer. I really enjoyed the textiles section. The history of the cotton industry is very interesting and the parts about slavery was done well with respect The second floor is extremely interactive, fun for kids and adults. It's super accessible with lifts and audio transcripts Please donate if you can!

Our first time here today. Really enjoyed myself. Some areas were blocked off and out of reach, however we managed to see textile room and go upstairs to explore science. Museum is easy to find walking from deansgate castlefield train or tram station.

Great museum to have locally. Diverse range of exhibits including many geared for kids. The special body exhibition was worth the money as the kids loved it. Been a few times and no doubt will be back again at some point!

A major refurbishment and reworking of the Museum is currently being made, and in parts will take years before it reopens. So little currently open or accessible. Terribly disappointed today. It was such a fantastic place to visit.
