Darcie & May Green situated directly outside Paddington Station on the Grand Union Canal are floating pieces of art, designed exclusively by the ‘godfather’ of British pop art, Sir Peter Blake.
May Green opens from the early hours of the morning (perfectly executed flat whites and banana bread) to the late hours of the evening (buzzing bar with nine local craft beers on tap and live music).
Darcie Green provides the perfect setting for canal side dining, serving Aussie brunch, healthy lunch and relaxing dinners. With an Antipodean-inspired menu, dishes are bold, fresh and comforting.

June 2024Great brunch menu in very convenient location for Paddington station. Lovely canal side venue. Would definitely come back, highly recommended.

May 2024Really loved that your get a savoury and a sweet course with the bottomless brunch. The Prosecco pairs too well with the food!! Would highly recommend, and make a reservation to make sure your not disappointed/ get turned away ☺️

May 2024Had high expectations of this place but let down by their service. I originally booked for Barbie Green but due to having some issues with Barbie Green, I had no choice but to book an alternative. Food and vibes were generally good, but there were for moments which was a let down. 1) I wanted to get a paper menu but then got blanked and ignored by one of the woman staff working near behind the drinks bar. 2) The guy with the glasses was so rude - the manager? “Can you please take my order” No. We went upstairs just for a peek but was greeted “Customers only” - really rude and abrupt. If it’s for safety reasons, explain. I have been working in catering, and I know what’s good customer service, and guess what service charge is already added to the bill when you pay. I hope you would reflect on this.
