Wow! A really magical day. I hadn't been to London Zoo since I was a child so I didn't really know what to expect. I was taken back by how much fun we had. The exhibits are brilliantly designed so you can get very close to the animals. The gibbons were interacting with us through a small sheet of glass. Later on we found multiple areas where you can actually walk amongst the animals! I had no idea you could do this at London Zoo! You walking a confined area whilst monkeys jump around you etc and we even had a sloth asleep right next to where we were standing! Later on we saw the lion roaring as it waited to be fed. We stood right next to huge tortoises and 2 feet away from a crocodile. Very very impressed and this turned out to be one of the funnest days I've had. 10/10

It's great but would love to see a better playground and definitely a sand pit One pirate boat is not enough We visited all available animals and it was great Lion gave everyone a lot of action by roaring and running around Understandable closures which hopefully will be lifted soon because we would love to see butterflies. 4 stars is for the luck of place for child to freely explore We have a 1y.o who needed a break from all the watching we did and some richer play area would be great Otherwise the animals are well looked after and easy to see We definitely happy to become the members!

This place was great. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go but I bought tickets ahead of time and was so glad I went. FYI: It's also cheaper buying tickets ahead of time online. The zoo was MUCH larger than I thought it would be. I've been a lot of zoos in America and this is the first international zoo I've been to. This zoo has A LOT of differences than the average American zoo but all of the differences are for the better. Luckily I went on non-busy day which was awesome for me. The biggest highlight for me was the Bugs exhibit room and the Monkey room because, unlike America, you can really get up close and personal with these bugs AND monkeys. They do bite and yes, they have tons of signs about this as well as a guard but this is something you would NEVER see in America and this was one of the best experiences. I was also impressed that the exhibits for the large animals offer plenty of room to roam. I highly highly highly recommend this zoo if you are in the area. In my opinion, it's well worth the money.

I love going there whenever I can. Love the place and can't wait to take my gran kids there as soon as there old enough. Easy spend the whole day there no problem 10/10 all day long.. they're also improving the zoo with new buildings and exhibitions. See past that and its a terrific day out. Looking forward to my next trip, hopefully soon..

Had a lovely visit. We went to one of the twilight sessions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The animals were fantastic. Lots of street food stalls with delicious food, drinks and treats. There were musicians and lots of crafting activities to participate in if you wanted to. Would definitely attend a twilight session again.
