Lovely modern hotel in a great location staff were friendly and approachable we only stayed for three nights and loved the wet room in our room and the bed was fantastic had a great sleep.we did not eat at hotel as it was our first time in Newcastle and we wanted to explore,the only downside was we did not feel our was ready as there was not even a half of a toilet paper the rim of toilet bowl was absolutely dirty and all around the two shower curtains at bottom had lots of soap scum I did report some of these issues and when we came back we had toilet paper however the toilet bowl was still dirty and I cleaned it myself as I always have cleaning wipes wherever I go on holiday.I don't think this is something a guest should be doing.we Did enjoy our stay and hopefully we will come back and this was just bad luck for us.we are looking at other places to visit and the Maldron hotel in these other places are where we have been looking at . our visit was on 11th October 2021

This is a lovely hotel in every way. The location is fantastic, within easy reach of the railway station and the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, fab bathrooms with power showers you don't want to get out of and toiletries that are divine . Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice, high quality, well-cooked food. The bar has a wonderfully understated feel yet it's run slickly by efficient staff. prices are very reasonable for a city centre hotel. The staff are worthy of the highest praise, nothing is too much trouble and clients are welcomed with warmth and good humour; the welcome at breakfast mad hour day! Thank you The Maldron for, well, everything.

Nice clean hotel. Checked in on line so quick to check in. Room spacious especially the bathroom. Had a lovely meal in evening in hotel, very nice and we'll presented. Breakfast really in morning. Would recommend. Also no noise at night.

The customer service is excellent. I arrived early for a business meeting and was made to feel very welcome. It is a modern hotel and looks clean and fresh. It's in the centre of Newcastle so it's handy for local attractions.

Stayed with a couple friends as I was running in great north run. Hotel was amazing! Wonderful welcome. Organised. Friendly and helpful staff from reception, room maintenance, restaurants. Fantastic service and some wonderful support gifts for runners that made us feel very honoured and special. Wonderful room facilities - comfortable beds and fresh clean rooms. Our weekend was made extra special and only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you very much Maldron Hotel and staff ❤️
