Food was good but not fantastic. Ambiance is great. Ordering from table was a breeze!

What a gem! Tucked away in a side street just a stone's throw from Liverpool Street this is a perfect London boozer. A warm welcome, good beer and an authentic ambience await you. "Ale and Pies" - what more can I say. It's what having a pint is all about. Try it!

Found this pub as we walked past Liverpool St Station.. Lovely surroundings all the beers and Ales you like, food is very good, and staff are excellent always willing to help and clearing tables...been here a few times now.

Very nice pub, well designed and warm interior. Great food menu with a focus on pies. Slightly higher than average pricing.
