The Square Bristol is a centrally located venue for hire in Clifton Bristol. The Square Club is renown for its excellent food and drink, positioning itself as one of Bristol's top restaurants and party venues.The Square is located just a stone’s throw from Park Street in the beautiful and historic area of Clifton with close links to the central area of Bristol. The Square Bristol is available for holding parties, barbecues, conferences and weddings in an alternative environment. The exquisite venue includes four versatile spaces for hire; a boutique lounge, an award-winning restaurant with incredible food and drink, a quirky cocktail bar and a heated terrace. The award winning restaurant, situated upstairs, which seats up to 70 people, can be hired for formal dinners and seated presentations.This Space, the Lower Deck Cocktail Bar and terrace, can host up to 120 people, and offers flexible surroundings to hold a party, a talk, a conference or a barbecue. As well as this, the venue holds a private license for live music, ideal if you want to take your party to the next level! The Square Club is a private members-only club, right in the heart of Bristol, neighbouring both the University and trendy areas such as Clifton and harbourside.
What are the costs associated with hiring the club?
Although we are an exclusive private members club, we love to host external events! When you book The Square Club for your event, we enrol you into our club, giving you access to our complimentary tea/coffee facilities as well as our comfortable artistic lounge, quirky cocktail bar and beautiful outdoor terrace. The £50 quarterly pre-payment you make covers both the hire of the venue and your year-long membership and any further deposit you make will cover the minimum spend for your event.
What are the time-restrictions for our event?
For our evening events, we are able to book out our lower-deck terrace from 18:00 until 1AM, and so our rate will cover this, rather than any particular hourly charge. The venue is open during the day, so if you require the space at a more specific time, please get in touch and we can walk you through your requirements, accomodating where we can!

Attended Sarah Cook's excellent monthly Come Network With Me lunch for business women. Beautiful smart listed building in heart of Bristol, situated in secluded side road overlooking historic Square and near the beautiful Brandon Park offering spectacular views over Bristol and the chance to see the famous Cabot Tower.

Popped in for lunch. Gorgeous salad and great chips but the falafel bites were very dry. Love the furnishings in the sitting area before you go through to restaurant. Only 4 stars as the lack of soft furnishings in restaurant make it very noisy and hard to talk if a group is in.

Very nice venue upstairs for working lunch, also downstairs event hosting area with sofas, seating, bar, and separate entrance down steps. Parking is 2 hrs max in the metered spaces adjacent on Berkeley Square. I've been to a couple of speaking/networking events downstairs, and it has been hard to hear the speakers with the noise from the kitchen area (behind a curtain!). Apart from that, staff are friendly, and it's a nice venue in a great location
