My go to local spa day retreat. I'm lucky to live close by and able to book a last minute spa day treat. The water facilities are my favourite. The treatments are top notch. Delicious healthy food. Everyone there is so helpful and polite.

We were there for a spa day. Obviously we didn't have a room stay. We absolutely love Champneys at Tring!! The whole place is beautifully clean. The staff are amazing! So lovely. Nothing is ever to much trouble. The food is delicious. Well presented and a good choice. Treatments are fantastic, so relaxing!!

I came here for an evening spa and as much as the staff were friendly and helpful, the place is not up to standard. The money they charge you for entry to the spa and the cost of treatments is not a reflection on the facilities and the building. It desperately needs renovating and a good clean! The treatments are also over priced, And to only have a handful of nail polish colours to choose from is not good when you’re paying for a high end pedicure. There are other great spas near by that are better value for money, so won’t be returning.

Set in beautiful grounds, I was really expecting something truly special. The scene for dinner was perfect and the live pianist really added to the ambience, however the dinner and dessert wasn't the best. Room wise, it was average and the bathroom fixtures and fittings looked like they'd seen better days. I can imagine that like marmite, some people will absolutely love everything about the place, however I felt that it was just a little tired and in need of updating ..

I've been there twice now since the beginning of 2024, I've paid £59 for the spa evening on a Friday & think it's really good value. Access to the spa between 4-9 but really it'll be between 4-7 by the time you get changed for dinner. But included in that, you get a 3 course meal too. The gentleman playing the piano while you eat really does create a lovely atmosphere.
