Really great day out even with the terrible weather. All the historians are brilliant, they are so welcoming and have so much to tell you that you start to feel that you are part of the history with them. Everyone says hello and is polite. Unfortunately, because of covid they weren't in the house but it was still nice. The grounds were nice too. Really great day out.

Thoroughly enjoyed the halloweenies event. Very well thought out, planned and executed. All the staff were brilliant and kids were totally entertained from start to finish. The grounds were beautiful and it made it even more worthwhile for the adults. Got value for money, will be back again.

Excellent place to visit, even on the rainy day we went. Good clean facilities, and really interesting and humorous information posts throughout the grounds. Great exploring the gardens, and with free produce on offer from the veg patches! The house was honest and had good information about current and planned renovations being undertaken, with detail about previous arrangements of the house and its construction history. Saw (and stroked) the pigs and other livestock, which was fun. Well worth a visit, and free with a Historic House Membership. Had food at the cafe, good portions, tasty and made with the vegetables and plants in the grounds where possible.

A gorgeous location, this was a birthday trip out for me on a Friday which was not an event day. Unfortunately the house was closing in the afternoon as we arrived which was a surprise (so reserving my fifth star - do check before attending). However, there was still much to delight in. There was tasty snack food to be had, peacocks strolling close by and activities on the lovely lawns, topiary and gardens with friendly characters in historic and fantasy garb populating the grounds who interacted with the children very well indeed. The weather decided to be kind and when that happens Kentwell becomes a magical place shimmering in the Suffolk sunshine. Well worth a visit. 😎👍

A beautiful, well maintained place! It looks great on a sunny day and the house is very grand. The tickets were so expensive! They close at 4pm, which is early. Instead of charging lots of money, perhaps you could stay open longer? They put in a lot of time and effort into the Halloween event. Was very impressed. There is a decent cafe, which is cheap and fast serving, but quite a limited menu. A brilliant day out!
