The Abbey is in a great location at the top of the high street in Great Malvern. The staff are polite, friendly and very efficient. It's not an easy time for hotels, but they are doing their best. Good service, nice food and relaxed atmosphere.

Best Hotel I've ever been to. They arrange fun activities for people, give people breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can call reception for support like if you're disabled and can't keep going up and down stairs, you can call reception for help. Useful, isn't it?

Comfortable room with good bathroom. Shower has decent pressure and water temperature is constant. Staff are all very well trained, good at what they do and just as importantly, friendly. Buffet breakfast has a great choice, all bases are covered. Private car parking at no extra cost. We had a lovely 2 night stay.

A very nice afternoon tea, well worth the money. Staff were very welcoming, will go again... Thank you.

I have rated this just 1star. 9/9/21 The room was just ok, but the bathroom awful! It looked like a prison bathroom, really basic and not at all welcoming. The room lacked proper tea & coffee with those horrible UHT milk portions and dirty cups that sat by a cheap white plastic kettle. (no fridge) The hairdryer was something out of the 1980's and useless..Dirty shower curtain and a discoloured/cracked bath matt, not to mention the filth all along the windows. The breakfast was buffet style and everything was cheap. Cheap bread, sausages and bacon and a horrible coffee machine that you find in hospitals. The juice was also the deeply concentrated rubbish. Do not stay here if you are looking for more than a 1star hotel but prepared to pay their 4star prices. I think they get away with it despite themselves, due to the central location and the endless coach loads of OAP's that are far to British to complain. We didn't bother to ask to change rooms as we were told this was their newly decorated rooms when we checked in! Nice reception staff but deeply demoralised which isn't a surprise. Friendly waitress in the restaurant.
