The Blakelands Estate is an Award Winning Country House & Barn Event Venue. Situated in the Staffordshire Countryside but only one road off the main A449, Blakelands is far enough to be truly rural, but close enough to be easy to get to.
The Blakelands Estate consists of the Blakelands Georgian Country Manor and surrounding Barn Buildings housing our Maltings Banqueting Suite and onsite bedrooms as well six acres of Formal Gardens, Paddock Fields, Festoon Lit Courtyard & a fully stocked Fishing Lake.
Our Maltings Barn Banqueting Suite, the main focal point of your event, has a seating capacity for 100 guests and seating & standing capacity of 180 guests. Arrive to our large secure carpark to our welcoming Reception Lounge before heading upstairs to our Banqueting Room. Equipped with its own fully stocked bar and three areas for food service including our Oasthouse Indoor Servery situated just off the main room, Courtyard Cave Outdoor Servery and Woodfired Pizza Oven & Hot Rock Grill Terrace. The Maltings Banqueting Suite can be accessed via an internal staircase or one of two external staircases. Disability Access via Stairlift only.
We have 14 bedrooms on site sleeping a maximum capacity of 34 guests, consisting of two Suites, three Family Rooms, one Twin Room, six King Rooms and two Double Rooms. Rooms are charged by occupancy not capacity.
As a Venue, we are truly flexible, with our own Executive Chef Team, Event Planning & Management Team, Venue Dressing Team and Expert Mixologists we can help create your perfect food & drinks menus as well as venue decor to make your event spectacular.

Suitable for Parties who wish to use the Blakelands Estate to its full extent with Guest Arrivals to Check In to Bedrooms from 3pm, Lodge Bar for Residents Open from 4pm-6:30pm, The Blakelands Georgian Manor from 3pm-10pm, before moving to the Maltings Banqueting Suite for the Main Event from 6:30pm.

Cancellation policy
All bookings can be cancelled within two weeks of the date of payment and receive a full refund, after this period has passed, all payments made are non-refundable upon the time of cancellation and all payments which are overdue will also be required as a cancellation fee.

July 2019There are no words to describe what a great place this is. My wife and I got married here and it couldn't be more perfect. The place itself is stunning with breathtaking grounds and views surrounding the beautiful country house. Inside is much of the same with amazingly decorated rooms in keeping with the traditional theme and decor. But a venue isn't just made by the building or grounds, it's the staff also, and I cannot speak highly enough of those who work at Blakelands. From the planning and preparation all the way to the day itself, the staff were absolutely fantastic! They dealt with every question and concern and made planning and execution of the wedding as easy as possible. If you want a country style wedding then I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. To Blakelands and the team we thank you so much.
