Fab, loads to see. Didn't manage to get round half of it!

Good museum much bigger than I thought it would be. Spanish gentleman on the door was so friendly which was great start to trip. There was so much to see that we stayed til closing time and Spanish man on door, instead of being rude and impatient when he had to kick us out, asked us if there was anything we wanted to see before we leave and personally took us to where it was to make sure we got to see it. Amazing experience. Coin collection pretty good. Do wish that the Museum would acknowledge it's colonial past a little bit more. Aside from that great trip. Highly recommend

Quite a nice place really. There is a big range of exhibits and pieces on show from Egyptian mummies to Japanese samurai armour to renaissance paintings and roman statues. The whole place is very accessible and they have portable stools you can carry around with you at the information booth near the front door. There is a decent cafe and shop as well as a kids area with tables where they can colour etc. Some of the rooms weren't my thing but with how many there were it was easy to find another that was more interesting to me. Might be a little stuffy for some younger kids, but has some really interesting historical items and exhibits. Would be a lovely way to while away an afternoon.

Always wanted to visit there... fully lived up to my hopes... wonderful. Excellent layout and information details, but very low illumination in some parts. The working colleagues all well informed and most helpful.
