Absolutely amazing gallery. Such a eclectic mix with lots to see and educate you. It's unbelievable that is totally free and accessible to anyone in or visiting Glasgow. A must if in town. For the perfect exploration, sound at least 2 hours.

Wow. This is a gorgeous museum with so much to offer - and it has free admission! We focused the most on the Scottish history exhibits, particularly the Glasgow Boys exhibit. We spent much of an afternoon here exploring and it gave us a great deal of perspective on the vatiagated history of Glasgow as a city, along with an acknowledgement of the wealth generated by colonialism. We found the museum itself to be easy to navigate and enjoyable for folks of a variety of age groups. The organ recital was a real treat, even if the acoustics of the building muddy the sound a bit.

Beautiful, ornate, spectacular museum with free admission and lots to see and do. The exhibits are stunning, the art unique, and the building itself masterfully majestic. If in Glasgow, do not miss! Cute cafe with reasonably priced goods, lots of seating throughout museum. Give an entire day to see all.

Great museum. I've wanted to come here for years. It reminded me of the Met and Natural History Museum in New York, which I've also visited. I loved the stuffed animals, the art gallery, and the organ recital. Fantastic.
