"The Atrium at Cloncaird Castle Estate is an extraordinary function room featuring a stunning canopy of glass that fills the space with natural light, creating a magical backdrop for your event. This modern addition to the 400 year old castle is set within 150 acres of historic woodland and gardens. The Atrium provides entrance through the front door of Cloncaird Castle, allowing guests to admire the period features before proceeding to the modern glass structure. Alternatively, direct access to the space can be gained through 15-foot-high doors at the rear of the property.

The Atrium offers 2,000 square feet of space along with male, female, and disabled toilets, a small breakout room, and storage space. There is underfloor heating throughout, as well as an imposing open fireplace. The round design of the room allows for multiple layout options for tables and chairs, making it ideal for meetings, conferences, parties, and more.

The estate is a 15-minute drive from Ayr and 1 hour from Glasgow. We have parking for 10 cars on-site, as well as a circular driveway that is ideal for pick-up and drop-off from larger vehicles.

The estate features plenty of outdoor space, including large lawns, water features, and woodland walks by the River Girvan. We also have a fire pit area, which would be an ideal meeting spot for outdoor activities.

This stunning space offers exclusivity and high flexibility with a unique ambiance, providing a spectacular location for your function. The space can be laid out specifically to best suit your needs, from candlelit dinners to ceilidhs. It’s also the perfect destination for bringing together business minds for team-building activities, a place for decisions to be made, and memories to be created."

We spent a great week based in one of the holiday cottages in the castle grounds. It's a very peaceful spot, the grounds are lovely and we even saw a couple of deer on the estate. Close to Kirkmichael village (great pub and food) and the Galloway Forest park for super cycling and walking.

Lovely place with so much to do in the local area, particularly for kids. We stayed in the coach house which was very pleasant and comfortable. Our only suggestion would be to supply a bit more cutlery. We loved the quiet surroundings and beautiful scenery. We would recommend visiting Culzean Castle and Dumfries House for the lovely architecture and gardens (both have great play areas for children). The kids loved Heads of Ayr play farm and we did a day trip to Arran which was beautiful (book the ferry in advance!). We also enjoyed visiting the Red Kite feeding station near Castle Douglas and the Cocoa Bean chocolate factory, although again this was a bit of a drive. Beautiful walks and cycling all around. Hopefully we'll be back!

Beautiful grounds, perfect guest house. We stayed in Duck Pond Cottage on the property and it was perfect. Quiet, clean, beautiful inside and out. The inn keeper Richard was very available to us. It was very easy accessing the castle and getting into our cottage. It was picture perfect with all the amenities we needed. I would highly recommend it.

Stayed as part of our honeymoon road trip. The place was lovely and well equipped, we walked round the grounds and it was well kept. The places was dog friendly and great for our dog. The first night there were alot of moths and midges due to being near a lovely stream so i'd suggest to keep windows and doors shut which we did and the 2nd night there wasn't any. Would recommend staying here
