We loved our stay here... It's in the perfect location, everything is walking distance away, so makes exploring Nottingham so easy. I do like a hotel that has a little history somewhere that has a soul and a story tell, this place does, just check out the staircase Our room was lovely, there's a lift to get you there, which is great if you have cases. It was a decent size with lots of quirky touches. The bed was king size and very comfortable. There was a bath in the bathroom, which might not be important for some but I love a bath 🛀!! Important as well was air con... Its around 27° outside but in our room it's heaven You get a discount for parking at the nearby lace Market car park which is £10 for 24 hours rather than £18 which for city centre is excellent value We would stay here again, it suited us perfectly... Enjoy

So my wife and I were up for a long weekend away, the lady who checked us in was an absolute Diamond no matter if we saw her when we required something or even when we were just walking into city. She made a point of acknowledging us and having a chat. People like herself warm, friendly, fun and outgoing are exactly the kind of people you want not something I've always found but I did here!

Very clean room and bathroom, however the shower got blocked very quickly to the point I had to remove the gunky clogged hair from the drain. The TV didn't work without a remote, I rang reception and did get one but it didn't work. The gap under the door was a good inch. We rolled up a towel to block the light out from the corridor. The breakfast wasnt bad, but I don't get my pastry selection I selected on my menu. It was comfortable and clean and as I said the staff are all quite nice

Privilege King Room Me and my family stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Perfect location to stay in Nottingham. Lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Room was cozy spacious and we really had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, plus the generous amount of complimentary softdrinks and bottled water they provided. Special mention to the Male staff with glasses at reception (sorry i cant remember his name). Thank you for being so welcoming and acommodating, made our stay more relaxed too. Highly recommended place to stay when in Nottingham .

I was there for a corporate meeting in one of the function rooms. The food at lunch (which my company had paid for) was cold. I am a vegetarian. When I asked which dishes were vegetarian, the assistant came out and pointed the ones which were, she seemed a little put out by coming out to explain. One of the dishes had bacon in it! I would not recommend this place for corporate meeting if you want any sense of hospitality or if you need to impress delegates.
