Amazing experience, Had the back neck and shoulder massage with the Elemis oils and it was incredible! Stayed in one of the new lodges at the front and the rooms were incredible. We had a few issues but it was sorted straight away by the amazing staff xx

Had an amazing experience at the admiral spa yesterday 21/1/24. Isobel was my therapist and what a lovely person she was, she made me feel very comfortable and spoke through the treatments asking me if I had any concerns or questions. The atmosphere in the room was perfect from the dim lighting to the warm sheets/towels to the music and oils. The bamboo massage was perfect, so relaxing and I feel great this morning, no tightness in my shoulders and neck and my skin looks amazing after my facial. At the end I was given recommendations and made an Elemis purchase to compliment my treatments. Can’t recommend this enough and Isobel also, thanks for adding to my wonderful weekend of surprises. A group of us went and stayed at the Osprey spa plus logde, great size VERY warm instead very uncomfortable if i'm honest. We were looking forward to the Hot tub, but to our disappointment the hot tub was cold, and had clearly only been put on not long before we arrived. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice, but the overall lodge felt it needed a bit of a revamp. Restaurant was also a let down, loving surroundings and entertainment but the food was poor! not worth the money at all. The best part for me was my massage it was fab!! It's not somewhere i'd be going back to.

This place has so much potential, however, it's upkeep is at the point that it is a health and safety issue for families to enjoy. One of many examples include the child safety gate that was broken. The constant back and forth to the reception to rectify it and it was still not addressed for our entire 3 night stay. The thought of another family renting out this lodge and something happening to a child, e.g. going head first down the stairs has driven this review in the hope that the owners stop and prioritize health and safety in these lodges. All the bathrooms did not have handrails for an older or disabled clientele. The shower tray was another death trap as it had warped with age so was uneven making it as slippy and unsteady as an ice rink. Other essentials that need attention are the spa wasn't working, the sauna also didn't work and yet these are some of the main reasons why people chose Piperdam to stay. Reception also told my elderly mother to put all of the rubbish in her car and drive it to the dumper bins as we couldn't find the bins. This is a joke! The change over times are possibly too tight prioritizing money over safety and maintenance which is disappointing and dangerous. This is not a place I would recommend staying unless you are being guaranteed that it has been maintained.
