Lovely hotel and spa, stayed for a package deal that included a spa treat dinner, bed & breakfast. Rooms were a little tired but looks like they are in the process of being refreshed. Food was very nice as was all the communal areas, the views, the spa and all the staff. A nice getaway.

I would very much like to pass on my thanks to the Spa management and staff for a wonderful day yesterday. The whole ambience of the place is one of serenity and relaxation. The reception were able very quickly to resolve the minor issues that had arisen out of the booking process. After a professional check in and guided tour of the spa we were left to get ourselves changed and provided with a complimentary coffee. The pool was delight as were the steam and sauna facilities. Siobhan was my therapist and boy does she know her stuff the massage was incredible and the luxurious pedicure left me floating. The day was complete when we had afternoon tea in the hotel. The food was dainty, delicious and plentiful, in fact whole day was wonderful. We discovered we couldn't actually finish the repast and as the hotel had run out of boxes for us to carton the leftovers to take home we were provided with bags to do the same job. Please pass our thanks on to all concerned.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Spa resource East Sussex National, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the tranquil beauty of nature, with a herd of fawn crossing our path, creating a mesmerising and almost spiritual atmosphere. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, providing a comfortable retreat amidst the natural surroundings. The staff at the restaurant were exceptional, displaying a high level of professionalism and ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. However, I do hope that the receptionist at the entrance can slow down her explanation of the facilities, as her fast-paced, robotic tone detracted slightly from the otherwise warm welcome. At the spa, while the young lady could have smiled more, I understand that it was the end of the day and she may have been tired. Nonetheless, the facilities were outstanding, with the spa, steam room, and swimming pool all being impeccably maintained and providing a truly relaxing experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast and dinner, which exceeded our expectations in both quality and variety. Overall, despite a few minor observations, I cannot recommend Spa resource East Sussex National highly enough. We will definitely be returning for another unforgettable getaway.

Beautiful setting for the hotel, spa, gym and golf course. Clean large airy modern reception area, manned by friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean, good size and well furnished. The bed could be a little longer if you're over 6 feet tall but a good width. The restaurant food and service was outstanding, attentive and speedy service.

I have had THE WORSE experience with this company. DO NOT BOOK!! I was bought a voucher to attend the spa for my birthday. Firstly, despite having paid directly with the company for a year-long pass, they could not find any evidence of the voucher. They kept redirecting me to 3rd party vendors, suggesting I had bought it with them (...I hadn't) and telling me I could not book over the phone, only email. Upon finding the voucher, it had all three of our names on it. I had given all our names to the receptionist, yet they had not been able to locate the voucher on their system. It took two days to book over email with the spa. I was sadly unable to attend on the day due to bad news. I called the spa- they tried to redirect me back to email. I pleaded to just sort over the phone and take my phone number. They agreed. Once I was off the phone they explained to my friends, who were there without me, that I would not be able to have my treatment rebooked or use my voucher. Despite JUST having given my phone number, they left my friends to explain this to me rather than picking up the phone to tell me. When I tried to make a complaint, I booked in a call with the spa Manager- Olivia. She missed the call without informing me. I tried to speak to someone higher up than her and was eventually put on to Phil. Phil took over a week to come back to me. He completely misunderstood what my complaint was about deeming it to be a "promptness" issue... its not. Then as a "good-will gesture", he offered me my voucher again... That isn't a good-will gesture buddy.... its what my friends paid for.
