January 2024I went with my wife, her mother and friend for lunch. All were happy with the food, I had steak and kidney pie with mash and fresh vegetables. It was first class, the pie was a proper one (not in a dish with the crust stuck on top). The staff were all happy and friendly. We hope to return next time we're in the area.

November 2021Excellent place to eat and drink. The interior looks freshly decorated and there is a very nice outside area to sit and have a meal or drink. Food is very good and at average pub prices (cod, chips & peas at £12.50 and a really excellent range of ice cream sundaes at £5 each). Service was very good, especially as it was busy when we visited.
