Beautiful building, peaceful rolling countryside, great facilities and delicious food. Service is extremely friendly and well-meaning if not very effective (most of the staff seemed inexperienced though all were welcoming). Rooms are very overpriced compared to other hotels at this price point (£300+ a night), especially if you only get a view of the car park. The "Escape to the Country" package (£540) worked out more expensive than if you bought meals and extended check-in separately. The spa is great and has some of the best gym facilities I've seen. I would come back again if the prices were more reasonable.

Lovely stay. The room was very nice and the food in the restaurant was perfect. We also used the Health Club which was based in a different but nearby building within the grounds.

I had a spa day. The facilities are lovely the pool was not too busy was a Saturday. The jacuzzi was great. Also used the sauna. My facial was divine. Georgia was my therapist abs she gave a lovely relaxing massage as well. I feel asleep so yes I was relaxed. The afternoon tea was filling all fresh and tasty. Highly recommended

Great afternoon tea, perfect for family catch ups. Really good service, fab flavours in a gorgeous setting. Will be returning to stay here at some point
