Darcie & May Green situated directly outside Paddington Station on the Grand Union Canal are floating pieces of art, designed exclusively by the ‘godfather’ of British pop art, Sir Peter Blake.
May Green opens from the early hours of the morning (perfectly executed flat whites and banana bread) to the late hours of the evening (buzzing bar with nine local craft beers on tap and live music).
Darcie Green provides the perfect setting for canal side dining, serving Aussie brunch, healthy lunch and relaxing dinners. With an Antipodean-inspired menu, dishes are bold, fresh and comforting.
May Green, our barge bar has a capacity for 40 standing inside and an additional 50 on the rooftop deck. Perfect for summer parties and smaller Christmas drinks and canapes.

Australian cuisine and dog-friendly. The food is quite good and very well presented. The drinks and cocktail offerings are extended and tasty! Popular choice seems to be the bottomless brunch, but we went with à lá carte options and were not disappointed. Does get loud and busy.

Enjoyed it here, food was very nice and the cocktails were mostly good, although found my Bloody Mary disappointing, no spice to it at all and served at room temperature. I have knocked off a star due to the rule of only allowing guests to order the bottomless brunch if everyone on the table does. Not everyone wants to or can/should drink alcohol, especially in larger amounts! We weren’t even allowed to split so one person had the non alcoholic choice. I find that really odd and a bit concerning.
