Great experience, free car park. I would recommend allowing all day for this park, it is huge, so many animals to see. We enjoyed our day out, clean area, helpful staff

Amazing zoo for anyone interested in conservation and seeing animals in spacious, naturalistic habitats. Educational exhibits make it a great place to learn about wildlife. Highly recommend!

Great place for a family day out. They have really good disabled changing facilities including a bed, shower and adjustable height sink. Able to rent wheelchairs and buggy's on arrival. The staff were very accommodating on the boat ride around the islands allowing us to queue jump and have a boat to ourselves.

Excellent family day out. There are lots to do and some great vantage points to see the animals. Very clean and staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

We are members, and try to bring our little boy here as much as possible. We all enjoy it here and think you get a lot for your money. We struggle to fit everything in to one day and living within 30 mins is brilliant for revisiting. We visited recently on a members day where we brought our friends for half the price of a usual ticket. The weather was beautiful so we had our packed lunch outside in the sun at one of the many outdoor spots, and enjoyed ice cream and coffees as we went around. Even though it was busy coming in, we found that it wasn’t busy around the zoo, so we could enjoy seeing everything without it being bustling. There is a huge range of animals to see and many helpful volunteers and staff on hand. The talks are great too. The zoo is kept very clean. The toilets weren’t the best but there were queues of people so I imagine keeping on top of them would be difficult. The baby change was very clean. Maps were available and signage was great throughout. In past visits we have found that the food is really expensive for what it is, but we just pack a lunch or snacks if needed. The gift shop is lovely and full of items, so it’s good to save some time at the end of your visit to look around. If you are visiting on a wet day, wellies are useful for the overflow car park. The conservation efforts of the zoo are well documented, and they are carrying out really important work. We are looking forward to continuing our membership and visiting soon to meet the snow leopards!
