This is one of the best places I have ever visited in the UK. If you have any interest in the armed forces or military history you must visit here. It covers a vast area and is full of many different monuments to various regiments, sectors and departments of the British and foreign forces. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful and serves as a wonderful tribute to those who have suffered in various conflicts all over the world. Was brilliant to chat to some veterans from the Gordon Highlanders who had been there for a dedication the day before and were clearly enjoying their visit. Most of the paths around the massive site are very level but it was fantastic for me to be able to hire a mobility scooter to get around the place. All staff on site were exceptionally helpful and well informed and really helped the overall experience. I would describe this place as a must visit location if you are visiting anywhere in the West Midlands region.
GOOGLE REVIEWWe've been several times and each time we learn something new, with references to look up when we're home. It's a thought-provoking location which, to my mind, handles the personal subject of memorials in an extremely sympathetic way. Each memorial has been designed by the group concerned, all have meanings, some obvious, some hidden, and many very clever, intertwining the story of the group into the memorial itself. It's a place full of sobriety, memories and wonder which I could never tire of visiting. I thoroughly recommend the buggy tour - it's well worth the £5 and gives an insight into a portion of the memorials on the tour.
GOOGLE REVIEWSurprisingly family friendly experience. We took our six year old and two year old for a visit and weren't sure whether it would be interesting enough for them. Fortunately the land train was exciting enough for them whilst allowing the adults the chance to see the 'grown up stuff'. There's also a couple of playgrounds to keep the kids happy. The restaurant was very nice and reasonable value, especially when the profits go to a good cause. We didn't visit the exhibition, but overheard people speaking highly of it. Overall a good family day out and we'll probably look to visit again when next in the area.

Beautiful place, brilliant staff, just great. Such an emotional and educational day, took my 11 year old son and we both took lots away from the visit. Parking was easy, cafe was clean, service was fab and food was delicious. Not overpriced either. Couple of kids play areas dotted amongst the memorials. Plenty of space for them to run about and not bother anyone too. Definitely recommend everyone to visit and pay their respects. Mind blowing ❤

Excellent site to remember members of the family who may have paid the ultimate price for their country in a great number of different places on the world. Excellent knowledgeable support staff to explain anything when required. Good facilities to assist those less able to get around this 140 acre site with its 300 separate memorials as well as the centre commemorative site for the armistice day remembrance event. Main roads to the site could have better sign postings though.
GOOGLE REVIEWA very special place to visit with so many memorials to view, set against beautifully landscaped gardens. Entrance is free but donations are welcome so they can continue to keep it free for everybody. There is a land train which takes you through the gardens with occasional stops. There is a commentary on-board which is very interesting but you have to pay a small fee for this service. The centerpiece is The Wall where the names of servicemen and women that died serving their country are inscribed. It is a very peaceful and thoughtful place and a must for all to visit. There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and the car park is free.

Well worth a visit, you need to book in and only£4 for all day parking. Very well maintained with volunteers around to answer any questions. Lots more memorials since we last visited. Plenty of benches to sit and reflect very restorative especially after the year we have all had. How lucky are we to have this lovely place on our doorstep? A great spot down by the river for a picnic in the sun. Takeaway food and drinks available on site.

Wonderful tribute to so many lives lost. We did train trip first which was very informative and then walked around various memorials. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good with reasonable prices. A good educational experience for all ages.
