Cancellation policy

1. Cancellation by the Client: In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel, postpone or reduce your confirmed booking at any time prior to the event, the hotel’s cancellation policy is to require payment of 90% of contracted accommodation and room hire and 65% of contracted food and beverage revenue, this represents compensation for the loss of profit sustained by the hotel as a result of the cancellation. The sum is payable on cancellation. Any cancellation, postponement or partial cancellation should be advised to the management of the hotel in writing. The hotel will make every effort to re-sell the facilities and will subsequently reduce the cancellation charge (by way of a refund) by the profit recovered on any alternative business we have been able to secure to replace the cancelled booking. 2. Accommodation: Unless specifically GUARANTEED by the client, the hotel may release any accommodation booked (including delegate accommodation) if not taken up by 6:00pm on the day of arrival. I recently stayed at the Britannia Sachas Hotel in Manchester, and I had an excellent experience. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. I highly recommend the Britannia Sachas Hotel to anyone visiting Manchester. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to the city.

We did see the reviews prior to booking but we were looking for somewhere cheap which it is. We got a windowless room which they did remind us when checking in about the ac and all. The room was a bit tattered but the bed and bathroom was clean. The major downside was the heat it was unbearable at times but there is a plug in fan. Staff were nice.

Staff were all friendly but the hotel itself isn't great. Stopping over for the night it did the job but the wallpaper in the room was bubbled and cracked, the paint work was terrible, the bathroom door didn't shut, there were exposed screws in the bathroom making it easy to catch your hand on and the a/c was non existent. Upgraded to a room with a window and got a nice view of a solid brick wall about 4 feet away. I was meant to be there for 2 nights but left after the first.

Lets go straight to the point: Sorry, you can NOT rent out a room without windows AND ventilation! Yes, I got a good price, yes, I agreed on a room without a view. But I did not agree on a room without fresh air. Slept with an open door out in the hallway, where air were only slightly better than the room itself. This is so poor, is it even legal?

Do not book this hotel. The staff were NOT accommodating and VERY rude, we payed EXTRA for a room with three guests and when we arrived to the hotel to check in, the staff insisted that we did not pay extra and our room only included two guests even though we showed them full receipts and payments. And they expected us to pay even more to add another guests. They were extremely rude. They also did not allow us to go into our room even though we had ID and they told us they cannot do anything about it which was unprofessional. We ended up cancelling our reservation and they said it was non refundable even thought the situation was completely their fault!
