SAMA Bankside is a unique bar, restaurant, events space and late night venue in the heart of London's Bankside on the Southbank between the Tate Modern and Oxo Tower.
SAMA Bankside would not be out of place in Brooklyn or Berlin and is located within Victorian railway arches over 2 floors besides Blackfriars Bridge and was voted "Best All In One Venue" in the Design My Night 2017/18 Awards within 6 months of opening.
The venue specialises in private hire for corporate events, away days, summer and Christmas parties, product launches, wrap parties, weddings and networking events. I was visiting London today and a friend suggested Sama. The location was perfect as we had a walk down the south bank. The atmosphere was trendy cosmopolitan and cool. The highlight of the day was the delicious food. The steak was perfect and the dessert to die for!.

Finally found a bottomless brunch with proper food that actually fills you up! We tried the limoncello spritz and watermelon spritz, and the watermelon was my favourite. For starters, the honey glazed jerk wings with sour cream were sweet, spicy and smoky perfection, and the prawn skewers with tropical mango sauce were excellent. For mains, the volcano pizza was super cheesy with a great spicy kick, while the ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and served with salad, fries and sauce. For dessert, the sticky toffee Biscoff cake came in a huge portion, and the gooey chocolate brownie was just as good. The atmosphere is lively and fun, making it a fantastic hangout spot for brunch in Southwark. Definitely one to add to your list!

Had the best time at SAMA Bankside for bottomless brunch with some friends. The food was delicious, the staff were amazing so kind and helpful. The owner Steve is so friendly and goes the extra mile for you. Cocktails are 10/10.

We recently had our Engagement Party at SAMA. After looking at over 20 other places, SAMA was ideal - great location near the river and Blackfriars station, private area downstairs with cloakroom, toilet and bar. It is a good looking space which worked perfectly for what we wanted with just under 100 people plus kids. Steve made the booking easy and was helpful during the planning process with my many questions. The night went so well and we had the space from 3pm until 1am for a minimum spend only. Recommend the prawns! Thanks to Steve, James and the team!
