We have had a great experience and even extended our stay. The Viking theme rooms were spotlessly clean and very well decorated. Good attention to detail. Character breakfast was also very engaging for the children although I have seen it before but it does not detract from how well the characters engage in entertaining the children. The access to the theme park is very easy and close by and having early access before the general public by staying at the hotel is an added bonus. We were given fast track passes as part of our package which were very beneficial so. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was just a standard full English breakfast continental section as well as fruit but not amazingly presented. Adam on reception was exceptional. Nothing was an issue and he looked after us very well with plenty of information. I would highly recommend looking for Adam on your next trip because he really does go that extra mile for guests and is clearly management material. Thank you!

Great family park. New coming! Track has arrived and supports appear to be going into the concrete posts! Exciting times for the park and families once it opens. Food and drink available at decent prices, especially if you have an annual pass. Vikings area and adventure cove are well themed as well as Thomas Land with its new water ride. Definitely worth a visit 😀

Stayed in a room without a theme. It was fine. Mini kettle in the room but no fridge. Child's bed was a pull out sofa bed which was comfortable enough. Room was clean. Dinner in the restaurant was expensive and mediocre. Food was slow to come and bland. Had to send ours back as it wasn't even cooked all the way through. Definitely would not eat there again. Breakfast was full English buffet, cereals, fruit, toast and a couple of pastries. Very average. Staff on the whole were friendly. Hotel is close to the park. About a 10 minute walk. No pool or play room but there is a playground outside.
