Booked Studio One for Event Venue event for 40 guests I would like to thank Carole for allowing me to have my special day at this really beautiful venue! We have created memories that will last a lifetime. Me and my wacky family have been pestering you for the last couple months bombarding you with questions and requirements for the ceremony during all types of unsociable hours and you handled us with such class! You gave us your time and made us feel important... for this I am humbled. In a place that is becoming increasingly more gentrified boathouse creative studios is a true community gem! A place that embraces a new Barking whilst keeping true to it's heritage. All for a price that is literally peanuts in comparison to the overall value. loosing my mother to cancer not too long ago my family has been overwhelmed with grief. This was the first day everyone cried happy tears and you were responsible for that Carole. I thank you for being a part of this beautiful journey. Love, Ali

Had my child's first birthday. The booking was straight forward and they were prompt with their responses. The venue is clean and good for hosting small parties. My only issue was during the party some lady came a few times asking for the volume to be reduced saying they had received noise complaints. Bearing in mind its 7pm. At the time of booking they did not mention about the volume needing to be low. I didn't understand as it was a party after all and people were dancing. Found it really uncomfortable with her standing at the door and it really made my guests feel uneasy. And this resulted in them leaving before the end time which was 9pm.

Great venue for parties. Perfect location with ample parking space for guests. They allow outside catering and also got us in touch with different vendors for decor and entertainment. Lots of seating options and lamps around to liven up the room. Toilet facilities are neat and clean and there's a disabled toilet along with changing facilities for babies. There's also a spacious lift to manage the multiple trips one may have to make to carry stuff up to the venue. While our guests throughly enjoyed the venue we only had one request to make with The Boathouse that they employ cleaners to sort the after party clean up as its exhausting to sweep floors and move chairs back into the room after you've just finished hosting a party. All in all we were still very pleased with the venue and also Carol's sweet gesture to bring a present for the birthday girl was really kind. :)

The venue was absolutely beautiful and spacious! Julie was incredibly hospitable and helpful every step of the way. The car park was super convenient making it easy for our guests to arrive. The venue and the entire experience was a perfect 10/10 and I’d 100% recommend hiring the place if you’re hosting an event. I can’t wait to come back!

I rented this space for my friends Bridal Shower which was ideal for the number of expected guests (35). There is also a on-site parking which is hard to come by. The venue is a loft style, modern and clean space. The booking comes with tables and chairs too. Carole was amazing…her customer service is top notch. She was very patient as I had many questions which was reassuring. I would definitely book the space again. It’s a win-win with the exposed bricks and lovely views of the cannel.

What a lovely venue, had a really nice time and it was comfortable for 40 guests. Julie really help us out with any questions that we had. There was a bluetooth speaker with good quality sound and there was a microphone available too. Would highly recommend.

Booked Studio One for Event Venue event for 80 guests Perfect venue

Booked Studio One for Convention event for 70 guests Was a great space for what we were doing. Easy Access to the bar next door was lovely and allowed for people to come and go, have a drink etc and chat outside. The inside space was nice for everyone to gather and sit around and talk as well as being good value for money. The location beside the river was very nice and gave a very English flair to it.

Aktar Gani Great little place for parties. it beats your old and crooked community halls, which are normally a little run down. This place looks a little more trendier and modern. I would not have any issues booking it again for future parties.
