Cancellation policy
- The total charge for the event, if notice of cancellation is received less than 6 weeks prior to the event. - 75% of the total charge if notice of cancellation is received between 12 weeks and 6 weeks prior to the event. - All cancellation fees payable for goods and or services that have been arranged and/or contracted by the Castle at the request of the Client. - In the event of cancellation, the Castle must receive notification in writing. - In the event that the Castle re-let the date, the Castle, in its discretion, may refund a proportion on any fees paid to the Castle. Whilst every endeavour is made to provide the services paid for, the Castle does not hold itself liable for any inconvenience caused, loss or damage arising or cancellation of those services. If it is obliged, by circumstances beyond its control, to cancel a booking, it will of course refund any monies paid but can offer no further compensation.

June 2024Very polite and friendly woman who owns the castle and the man doing the tour was very knowledgeable about the castle and the history. There should be a gift shop to buy things because it would be nice to get some things to remember the visit.

September 2024My wife and I (we come from Plymouth ) stayed for 2 nights at a cottage room with en suite shower,toilet and sink-such lovely rooms.We had a lovely stay,we visited inside the castle which was amazing, we had great chats with the owners who are very friendly and beautiful scenery, we had lovely walks across the countryside, we definitely recommend people coming to stay here.

July 2024Enjoyed a very memorable stag weekend here. Terrific venue with plenty of character and outdoor areas. Rooms were lovely, and surrounding area is wonderful. Oh, and it's an actual Castle!

Whether it was the delicious BBQ, the serene surroundings, or the fascinating castle tours, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.
