Came here for afternoon tea, was absolutely lovely! I had the veggie one and it was very good, we had a glass of champagne and unlimited tea/coffee (coffee was really nice!). Staff were friendly and talkative. Views were beautiful.

Had a really lovely champagne cream tea. Sat in the library overlooking the gardens and sea. Cream tea had sandwiches, pastries, really light and tasty lemon drizzle cake, and scones with jam and clotted cream. All with a choice of tea or coffee. Unfortunately it was so nice we ate it before I thought about taking any photos!!! 😃

Very good traditional hotel where we had afternoon tea at lunchtime which had a good choice of sandwiches, cakes & scones. The view out of the window of the sea was impressive, so another place to go back to!

Nice hotel, lovely food, friendly manager and staff. Bedroom not to our liking, floorboards very noisy, bathroom extremely hot. Found the drinks really expensive and a service charged on top of your bill, very quiet at night. Lovely grounds to the front and well kept gardens. Good parking at the back. Short walk into Bournemouth. Just not for us.

A 6 night break bed and breakfast. Good breakfast, most of staff good. One head waiter a bit over the top on rules and where to sit. We had one 3 course meal on our first night very nice. Also 3 times ate from bar type menu which was very good. Had one meal outside while listening to jazz which plays on a Thurs eve. Room ok we were on side of the building with a distant sea view. But we had building works next to us but didn't cause problems and we were told of this when we booked. Possibly a small reduction in the price would have been appropriate. We were offered a scone jam cream plus tea for 2 because we had a room with that view. Refined hotel, nice grounds.
