stayed over the weekend. old hotel with creaky floorboards but room was clean. very friendly front desk staff. even though it was over a fri n saturday night the noise from the bar / club really wasnt a problem.

This was a convenient hotel. Check-in was fast and very friendly. There was a lot of parking around back and it was gated which was nice. The room was fine and spacious as was the bathroom. The water in the shower wasn't very hot which was disappointing. But the bed was pretty comfortable. The sushi restaurant downstairs was nice. My salmon sushi was very good and the edamame was delicious. The sushi burritos were huge and a bit great but very tasty. So, the nightclub downstairs was hopping on a Saturday night. We were on the second floor and could hear the thumping until 4am. It didn't keep us awake, actually, I think of the three of us I was the only one who heard it during the night. But I did hear it as I woke up during the night. It wasn't enough to put me off the hotel though. The location is quite convenient. And the nightclub has a separate entrance so the hotel wasn't crazy busy.

Good breakfast and staff are great. Rooms are dated and are very cold, we put the heater on and also the blanket on bed. Avoid like the plague on a Friday and Saturday night if you want a good night's sleep.

This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We like the location and the 1812 bar which is modern, always lively with a good choice of cocktails and great service. There is a band and DJ at the weekends. The cooked breakfast is a choice from a menu it comes plated rather than buffet. There is also the usual cereals , juices, tea and coffee and pastries again great service and was very good. The rooms are clean but could do with some updating the shower is in the bath and was quite slippery however a mat is provided. Also do not choose the hotel especially on a weekend if you want a quite nights sleep due to the location it is lively and loud not a problem for us but will not suit everyone.
