Pretty dated hotel, most frustrating thing is that the curtains are too narrow to cover the windows, I mean for real? Reception Staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the bar staff are not so friendly and make you feel like you are bothering them. This is a good hotel, good location and perfect if on business.

Lovely, well maintained hotel in a very convenient location. Well appointed rooms with almost everything you need. The almost was because I like a bathtub and there wasn't one but it's a personal preference and I got over it because everything was so good. Both room service dinner and the breakfast service was excellent with a good range of tasty options. Very happy and will come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The room was cold. Used the oil heater provided but it took several hours to warm up. The duvet was also low tog rating. And it wasn't a cold snap either! The buffet breakfast was better compared with Holiday Inn so gets a better rating.

I was upgraded to a superior room from a twin room. Check-in was easy, staff was helpful. I also got a cookie as a welcome present. The room was spacious, tea-making facility and nespresso coffee machine with 4 pods. The bed was really comfortable, and I had a restful sleep. The hotel was also a 6-minute walk to the train station. Staff at the event was fantastic. They were attentive to make sure coffees and teas were topped up and meals were served promptly.

Room service team were fabulous, everything topped up each day, which often seems to be an issue at other hotels. I hope this team gets the recognition they deserve. 👍 The only let down as others have mentioned were the bar team members. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Much appreciated.
