Initially concerned when we walked in and saw the decor, but we needn’t have been. We had a fantastic meal and our waiter was great. Some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner yesterday. The steak - Chateaubriand - was perfectly cooked, and the sides - creamed spinach and garlic mushrooms were amazingly harmonised with the steak. Chips were crispy and seasoned well. The staff for my table was very attentive and professional. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was good enough. The borough branch is a little bit more casual than other branches, but still good to go for a special occasion. Recommend this place!

Came for the Sunday lunch. They did mention they’d serve the roast beef pink, but I think it was just on the wrong side of rare - parts through the centre felt like they were hadn’t quite felt enough heat and were edging towards raw. If that’s your thing, you might enjoy it! Gravy was excellent - only complaint was that we could really have used a bit more! Yorkshire and vegetables (carrot and cabbage) were great. It’s a lovely cosy dining room and makes you think of creating a family Sunday roast tradition. Service was extremely polished, prompt and attentive.
