We upgraded for an extra £21 and I am glad I did. Stayed in the dudly suite and was taken back by it. Absolutely beautiful. Could not really complain about anything only the price of a drink. I would suggest though if having a 3-course meal in with your stay, just check the extra surcharges on the menu. Breakfast in the morning is probably the best breakfast I have had. All local products and very tasty lot to choose from apart from veggie sausages(but that don't matter ) Looking forward to my next stay there which will be soon

I've stayed at Coombe Abbey a number of times over the years, all the rooms in the main building have a unique quirkiness; froms bath tubs in the room to a bathroom behind the bookcase. Parking is plentiful and grounds are good place to walk around. The front desk team are very welcoming, room service is excellent and the locally sourced produce for breakfast is quite tasty.

Great afternoon tea and performance by the D-Day Darlings today. Great service by friendly staff, plenty of tea top ups, tiered stand so the afternoon tea was presented in a lovely way. Great gluten free option too and we didn't miss out on presentation or content because it was gluten free. The marquee was dressed beautifully and was lovely and warm on such a cold day. The D-Day Darlings were fabulous as always and we had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon ay Coombe Abbey. Thank you.

The hotel was tired but the staff we were very attentive . Breakfast was a shambles with items running out, and restock took ages! If you took items and waited for others, the items you took were cold as we waited so long. Also, they tried to charge us for decafe latte as they said it wasn't included with breakfast, but in the end, we weren't charged! We enjoyed our stay as the grounds are beautiful, but the hotel was not one of the best we have stayed at.
