Had the Chinese banquet and it was fantastic. Service was very good and the price we paid for the meal was worth every penny. I would certainly recommend Hare & Hounds if you are thinking of having a meal especially the all you can eat Chinese Banquet.

The hare & hounds is a bit different from most village pubs. There is a good choice of beers larger and cider, but sadly, no cask conditioned real ales. The L-shaped bar has bar games, a pool table, and a dart board. It's main selling point is as a Chinese restaurant. There is a separate dining room for meals. I haven't tried the food, but the restaurant menu looks very extensive and inviting. They also have a Chinese takeaway menu. There is a large car park behind the pub.

Came for the first time today. once arrived was informed it wasn’t a Chinese buffet even though was told on the phone it was! The portions was very small and the prices was the highest I’ve ever seen at a Chinese restaurant!! I work all over the country and this place has to be the most expensive.. okayish food but not worth it at all. Probably explains why we was the only table on a bank holiday.... a lot better places for a fraction of the price.
