An excellent overnight stay, on the edge of the forest. Beautifully presented building, inside and out. A comfortable bed and capacious room and bathroom. The staff team were friendly, engaging and professional. Was tempted to have the cooked New Forest breakfast...and my beans arrived in their own little pot. Amazing...I shall return...

First night and day was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. The day we were leaving was after they had hosted a wedding and the breakfast quality was poor and there was no swimming pool available. Staff were not as helpful which was a shame after the previous day's.

We we're given a Five Star Days Out voucher as a present, prior to the pandemic. We decided to treat ourselves to Afternoon Tea for 2 at Bartley Lodge Hotel, and we're able to pay extra to take our Son as well. The service from all the Staff was excellent the food was delicious and well presented. We enjoyed our visit on Sunday 26th September, Thank You to all the Staff on duty.

Had a 4 day stay for a wedding. The staff were outstanding friendly and very helpful. The wedding was at the hotel which was excellent. Perfect setting with the wild horses for company. Hired bikes and rode around the new forest awesome ! Would recommend

A lovely restful stay at this hotel. Will come again in the future. My uncle used to own this hotel in the 1970"s. I last stayed here in 1977. It has changed a lot in the past 30 years. It is a lot bigger now than, it only had 12 rooms in 1977. It has nearer 50 now. The newer parts blend in nicely with the old. I hope it will always be here.
