Very impressed with this lovely restaurant. Had a friend who needed halal steak and called the restaurant after the website said halal needs to be ordered in advance. We were booked in for 30 minutes later! The steaks were delicious, as were the garlic mushrooms. The staff, despite being incredibly busy, were attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself has a great view of the river and was a really lovely place to eat. I can't fault this venue. Prices are as you'd expect for Canary Wharf but no quibble from me. Worth every penny!

This is my favourite Gaucho restaurant, by far. The staff are warm, welcoming and kind, the food is excellent as are the views of the River Thames. I had the sea bream which is always delicious, as are the olives, tuna tacos and the fries and sautéed spinach. A special mention to Kristi who served me tonight-he was lovely, efficient and allowed me to relax while I sipped my champagne and enjoyed my olives, before taking my order for my meal. Another huge special mention is my lovely Adelina. Adelina was my server for a year or two, and when I returned last month I discovered that she is now a manager. I was so pleased to hear this because she truly deserved this promotion. She is just the best! She is so professional, but warm and welcoming and always remembered what wine my parents and I ordered, as well as the fact that I am dairy-free. She ensures her customers are happy and well looked after. All in all I highly recommend this Gaucho. The views on the terrace (outside area) are lovely, especially during the warmer months. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Gaucho Canary Wharf is a lively venue which had a very energetic vibe with the live DJ. The decor was swanky and attracted a very young crowd when we went for brunch. Our server was fairly new but she did well and was very attentive and engaging. The food was ok. I was not wowed by anything in particular, but I did enjoy the truffle croquettes. The setting is lovely, just by the river with lovely views of the city on the other side. It's a good venue for celebrations and lively music.

Honestly I could never be more disappointed! The view is the only good thing about this place. We came there in a rush hour and it wasn’t busy. So here we thought we catch the lucky tickets, but it’s not. We simply order burgers and we were waiting like an hour. Like for real how hard could it be? Was it tasty? It wasn’t bad not an hour worth waiting. Next is the service, awful. The waitress comes with no communication skills whatsoever. She simply be pushing u get staff, like “are you gonna order this, are u gonna order that” with no logical explanation of food and extras she pushed for. The fun part is when one couple came there, they were asked if they got reservation? Like wht u mean, u hardly busy in a rush hour. The view is the only thing that make it felt better.

Extremely disappointed with Gaucho. They should not be offering a Bottomless Brunch - the food, service, and experience are sub-par. I initially booked the brunch for 5ppl and then amended it to 6ppl weeks ago. This morning (3hrs before my reservation time) I get multiple missed calls from the restaurant saying the booking time needed to be moved to earlier. With us all coming from different parts within and outside of London, I spent a stressful 50mins on the phone dealing with that and my distressed friends. We eventually managed to resolve it and I had hoped that would be the end of the issues. I personally attend many bottomless brunches with friends and this is truly one of the worst. The service is slow and rude, and no one could explain to us clearly how the brunch works. We continuously had to flag them down, ask questions and make requests. The food itself is sub-par. The steak is sooo disappointing. It’s the only main offering in the brunch which is already limiting and for a restaurant known for its steak, it was horrid - very tough and inedible. The drinks were ok but not memorable. I say remove the dessert and offer a different main. Not every restaurant can do a bottomless brunch well, and Gaucho have missed the mark with this one. We won’t be returning or recommending.
