Really helpful dealing with my disability. Really pleased with offer of a cheese pleased with offer of a cheese board due to diabetes. The teas were amazing beautiful and flavorful. Next time will come back for coffee s! We considered a glass of bubbles also! Environment glorious but not intimidating. Will peruse your website. Have walked past many times but Thought it may be intimidating. So wrong! My sister and I also were interested in disability facilities in your room s. Hotel is in a fantastic location on one of the main high streets. Staff, were very polite, smart and attentive. Room was not large but good value for money for the price and great en- suite. The champagne bar was good although as expected in a hotel a bit pricey. The restaurant dining experience was fabulous, the a-la-carte food sublime. Very very good value for the quality of food, service and presentation. Should be up there as one of the best in the city. Altogether a great place to stay.

They do try. The menu goes for the high end, and it's not a bad effort at all for Canterbury, it's well made... It's just the venue, the ambiance, the staff, it's all a bit tired and a bit - punching above its weight. I've not got any pithy suggestions... It's a hotel that perhaps needs more TLC and a revamp... And a rethink... Perhaps. Then again some people may absolutely love it... I'm thinking perhaps it needs a massive open firepit for entire animal roasts... Something dynamic and eclectic... A Viking Hall... A feast hall... Not a theme, an actual replica... There you go... A pithy observation suggestion...

We had an absolutely fantastic stay (Sunday sleepover). I’ve always viewed this as one of the better places to stay in the city. Room was large and clean. Massive bed. The staff were super friendly. Food I was super impressed with. And the staff managing the restaurant were also superb and hard working. Thanks for having us. I’d recommend

Absolutely loved our stay at the Abode in Canterbury. The young man on the front desk was exceptionally great, so friendly, warm and helpful, in fact all the staff were really good. Beautiful hotel, lovely breakfast and great location, we can’t wait to stay again
