Fantastic location in the heart of Canterbury. We had a deluxe room which had a great seating area as well as a very spacious room. We ate in the restaurant which had just changed it menu to a tapas style which was excellent. So much better than all the chain type eating places in Canterbury. Food and service was excellent and value for money was also great. Thank you to all involved in making our trip such a restful and relaxing time.

I stayed here for a belated birthday treat with my partner.. The hotel is very nice and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.. The only thing I was not happy with was that we attempted to get a drink during the afternoon and was literally turned away from the bar due to it being busy and then we went to the bar at 2230pm for a night cap only to be turned away again because it was closing! If we had known this we would have stayed somewhere else..

Location and service was great. Room was mediocre at best, and smelled of mold. Breakfast was ok. Best experience was Anthony at the bar. We caught him a few times during our stay. He was the highlight of our stay. Hardest working employee they have. He always went above and beyond for us.

I was really disappointed in my stay here, I think I had such high expectations that just wasn't met. On given my room I noticed a lot of mold behind the chair, thankfully reception came and gave me an upgrade which was appreciated. However, this new room also had mold in the bathroom around the shower. For the price being paid it just isn't what I'd expect, I've stayed in far cheaper places with better rooms and service. Location was great and bed super comfortable but sadly won't be recommending this place to anyone soon.

Awful, we had our Christmas party here and will not be returning. Over the years we’ve had Christmas party’s in lots of different venues and I have always enjoyed a simple meal and a few drinks with a dance after. The abode was terrible. More than anything it was the cost, £6.50 for a small bottle of beer meant it was difficult to enjoy the night. I didn’t check but the rounds also seemed higher than they should be so I feel they may have been adding a service charge to the extortionate cost of drinks. Toward the end of the night I ordered 2 double Cubans, the bill for these 2 drinks totalled £56, I’ve never been so shocked at the pricing of 2 drinks in my life. Not only were the drinks ridiculously priced but our Christmas meal consisted of one course, this one course consisted of 1 carrot, 1 parsnip, 1 potato, 1 piece of chicken and I believe 3 Brussels sprouts. No starter, no desert, absolutely no other food than the one plate other than a bread roll on the side. Don’t even think about enjoying a party here. You’ll get the bare minimum, which was basic at best and they’ll pull your pants down for the privilege. Never again
