I wish I could give it more stars! We stayed in a courtyard facing room and the view if the Cathedral was stunning. The hotel really is right next to it. From check in we were treated very nicely and it was a nice way to start our holiday. Being in the grounds you get a pass to go in and out of a small door next to the main entrance. I have to admit this was very cool! We did the Canterbury ghost tour n the evening which was fun and when we came back the night porter Tom was there. He made us feel right at home and settled us in the Library where we had a drink. I can honestly say the staffs friendliness and welcome we received has made our stay. The room was comfortable, its the location and welcome that are amazing. We will be back and friends have already booked.

Very nice hotel within the grounds of Canterbury Cathedral. During your stay you can visit the cathedral as much as you wish whether for exploring the history of the site or to attend a service. There is limited parking, also a garden for hotel guests to use and a library where you can have drinks served. There is also a shop for gifts and souvenirs. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable though the shower cubicle was quite small. As soon as you enter the grounds there is a wonderful feeling of peace and quiet and the view of the cathedral from our room was stunning especially in the evening when the lights were on. Breakfast is the only meal available and it is excellent with lots of choice all freshly prepared.

We had a family meal in the restaurant. Food was great - really tasty, hot and well presented. Some nice wine to accompany it too. Staff are lovely and very professional- impeccable service. Will definitely return. Note we did not stay at the hotel.

Have really enjoyed my stay here - there can't be a better relocation for a relaxing few days than on the Cathedral grounds, a stones throw from the shops etc. I love how secure it feels with the Constables I'm charge of access once the site is closed to day visitors. The only downfalls would be the rooms could do with a small fridge and the breakfast seems really busy. But all in all, I'd highly recommend.

I loved it, tastefully decorated and spotless rooms. Stunning view from our window of the beautiful gardens and Canterbury cathedral. The breakfast was superb and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Two minute walk to the charming High Street which was comfortably busy with lovely shops and plenty of really good restuarants. I can't wait to go back. Would definitely recommend 😄
