January 2024Really lovely pub. Staff are very friendly and helped entertain the children with drawing pad and pens. The food wait was a little long (roughly 45mins) but it seemed to be home cooked, good food. Great size portions. Good quality food. A little on the expensive size, I felt, for what it was. But having said that, most places are overpriced nowadays, so it seems. Would I go back? Yes, I would.

March 2024Sadly there was an hour wait for food even though there were only 4 tables occupied. The food was poor, could not recognise the butternut squash lasagne, very overloaded with layers of pasta with what tasted like tomato soup. The homeslaw was non existent, a few rocket leaves that had seen better days. Overall it was disappointing as have had much better experience before.
