Kurobuta takes its inspiration from the Izakayas of Japan, where tapas-style plates are served to accompany drinks in a casual setting. Situated on the Kings Road,serving modern Japanese with a twist and innovative options such as tuna sashimi pizza, frozen beer and green tea Mr Whippy ice cream. We offer different venue hire from full venue, to the downstairs Den which seats up to 35, semi private dining room seating up to 14 and a keg table seating 12 where you can pour your own Asahi beer as you dine.

Service is shockingly bad!! Food is okay, pretty good... if it ever gets to you. The (too many) waiting staff have absolutely no idea what they’re doing and are moody to boot. They gave our orders to other tables, forgot some of our orders so we were waiting for 30 mins for a dish before cancelling t, they cleaned the tables thinking we were finished but no they had just forgotten to bring the food. And I know it’s on the kings road so expect it to be expensive but the value for money is pretty poor. Sorry to the poor chef because the food was okay but the experience is bad. Thank god we weren’t hungry because 3 hours for an artichoke nibble, seaweed salad and duck pancake is not ok.

Came here for the brunch, while the food was tasty, it really was nothing special and the Japanese Dude food title is a bit misleading. The star of the show was definitely the fried chicken bao bun and the staff were very helpful. The other issue with this place is the clientele..... a lot of awful Chelsea set! I think that there are better versions of what this is trying to be
